This comment system works for now, but yeah, it'll be nice to have a proper forum eventually.

I am well aware of the reference. He PMed me on Giantitp asking for permission a few days ago, so I caught it.

Man, I haven't posted here in ages. Anyway, Jordan, you were referenced in a recent Vatsy and Bruno chapter over on Chocolate Hammer. I'd check it out if I were you.

Jordan's right. My personal opinion is that this type of community is best fit for the time being to comic comments, but I recognize that the community really wants a forum. One day, I hope there will be one, but as Jordan said, I would much prefer to write my own software for maximum integration. When that will be, I don't know, but I can almost guarantee you it won't be before summer.
I was wondering if you are planning to add a real message board to your site.

This is really in Crazed's hands rather than my own. He of all people knows that I'd love to have a forum on this site, since I pretty much agree with you about the community. However, Crazed wants to build his own forum software for the task, (and given how many favors I ask of the poor man, I figured it was the least I owe him
) and as I'm sure any of you know, coding your own forum software from scratch is a... daunting task. I have total faith in him, (he entirely designed this comment system, after all) but it could just take a while.
Anyway, I'll try to get him in here for a better explanation.

Bob: Witches Abroad. A nameless vampire had some trouble slipping through the witches' inn room's window due to being completely randomly knocked around by the shutters. The whole thing culminated in the vampire being eaten by their pet cat before he had a chance to return to humanoid form.

Hello,
great Comic, very funny (as usual).
I was wondering if you are planning to add a real message board to your site. The comments are nice on a per comic basis but I have the feeling this community has grown enough to have the need for more persitent discussions. Like the music thing you were asking about for example...
Keep up the great work!

Come to think of it, could Keriss batting Lana with the shutters possibly be a Discworld reference?

It is call plot! come on DM's how many times did you pull silly tricks on your gaming group just to keep it interesting? Some accidents need to occur or it gets dry in a hurry.
Or their DM is sort of evil and rolled a Dex check for standing on the sloped roof. (Which she then got a 1 for *grin*.) Though a Luck stat WOULD explain whythis sort of thing always seems to happen to Lana... y'know, aside from the whole good story element

Something seemed off about this comic....
Oh well. This doesn't bode well at all...
(Founder of the Zurie fanclub, thinking about founding a Laris fanclub)

Lol, good comic, although it felt a little short... maybe the lack of text?
Although I was hoping for more Laris vs Druid, which is much more interesting right now, this comic was great!

I'm beginning to suspect that this campaign uses a homebrewed system that includes a Luck ability.

Ah, just finished reading through the archive again and decided this was as good a time as any to say hi. Really nice comic Zarah.
Afraid I'm a little behind the times, but did we ever learn what class Zurie is?
(I'm guessing bard)

I seriously doubt Aldran would take the village out... But that caster from Ivory Veil... If he is Quentas himself the village will be leveled just from unleshing litle of both Aldrans and Quentases potential

Hehe, brilliant comic. And I agree about Aldran; I get the feeling he's not really the sort to level a village without very important reasons. So I'm expecting a "stealthy" escape, though I wonder what further part Laris will play as well.

yeah, doopliss, aldran's player certainly lends himself to a 'karma' system.

I do not believe that Aldran would destroy an entire Village ... what reasons would he have? The Ivory Veil already knows that he is alive. And destroying an entire village would point to him as well als escaping and letting rumors start would.
