Me thinks the actual messenger was from Zurie's squad; those symbols seem squad-specific to me, six yellow = commander, two yellow four red = some enlisted-ish rank, like E02 or something. Master Sgt. maybe?

Guys its really a window but look in the last panel to see how windows are made and please remember that they are living in a tower. Unless someone is flying really high, he woudnt be able to see anything. You dont care all that much about windows when you live in the only tall building around, nobody can see you anyway.
