posted by Chris on 2011/5/30 (Comics)Good evening once again friends! I have for you now issue #222, my first time illustrating Aldran and Kaal. Though I have to say thank you for all the positive feedback that we received here for issue #221, it means quite a bit to have the approval of the fans that Zara worked so hard to earn over the years.
I'll do my best working with Leaking Pen, Zara and company to keep up a consistent schedule down the road, but for now enjoy our comic about a couple of lovable book worms!

That got a chuckle out of me. Personally, I think that both the artwork and the dialogue are faithful to the original source, so props there.

I'll send you an email. Maybe it would be better to have your bot check our RSS feed, which updates every time there is a new comic and is consistent.

I have one question thought. Could you please keep uploading files with same name pattern as Jordan did? I translate your comic to czech language (www.oots.cz, Záporáci section) and we have one feature called release_announcer_bot, which check Your site for new files, so we know new page is out without daily chcecking this page ourselves.... Jordan used same pattern for new pages, which was kinda... easy to check for our beloved bot. Now, when file contains name of the page, it's getting kinda unpredictable.

Very nice! Just one critique: In the third panel, Aldran Kaal look way to tall for the door. Perhaps you could make the door taller, since Kaal and Aldran still look normal-sized.

Looking good! The upgraded art style is fine by me. I just went back to episode #2 and notice that there have been a lot of style changes in the characters since then. Good work, team!
Of course, now I guess I should go back and re-read the last 20 episodes so I can remember where we are in the story.

Very nice comic&joke!
I think however that Aldran figure is a bit too high respect to the door and, above all, in his second panel his feet are emerging a bit too much from his figure, looking odd.
Second panel aside, you made a very good work with the books and maps.
